As Green As It Gets is a non-profit organization focusing on economic development and environmentally sustainable agriculture in Guatemala. This NGO places a strong emphasis on protecting the environment and land restoration as an integral part of business management. The objective is to lift small producers out of subsistence agriculture by helping them attain skills that can be profitably marketed, strengthening local knowledge and income development.

As Green As It Gets works with over 300 coffee farmers who are able to sustain themselves at a greatly increased quality of life through the processing and exporting of high-grade coffee.  AGAIG also supports initiatives in community development, education, public health, disaster relief, reforestation, and research and development in appropriate technology. As Green As It Gets offers a variety of tours through its projects to educate visitors and increase transparency.

• A rebate on a $150,000 home will buy 3 bicycle-powered pulperos for 3 new coffee farming families.  These pulperos remove the fruit from the coffee bean, allowing farmers to process the coffee bean into roast and ground coffee.
• A rebate on a $250,000 home will fund the rotating small business loan program with capital for 12 small business loans.
• A rebate on a $1,100,000 home will fund the materials to construct one classroom at the local vocational-technical school.
